SAMI Maths Club Goes International!

15/06/2017
The SAMI Charity Maths Club continues to meet every Wednesday from 12.45 to 13.45 in the CDI. Recently we have linked up with schools in Kenya so that Lycée students and Kenyan students can share their enjoyment of problem solving, puzzles and mathematics. We encourage everyone involved to not just develop their maths skills but also dig deeper into the world of mathematics.

The Maths club is open to all pupils from 6eme to terminale and it's a fun, interactive way to engage with the subject beyond the classroom. Everyone is welcome to attend in the final weeks of the school year. All of the puzzles and challenges can be found on the Maths Club website, so even if you cannot join us in person, you can still participate in the weekly activities. You will also find here links to our shared puzzles with schools in Nairobi.

Here is one of the math puzzles you might want to enjoy today!

SAMI Charity is proud to support the use of technology in schools and communities throughout Africa. Please see exciting news about our latest campaign reaching out to help the community in rural regions of Kitale in Kenya by setting up and running similar maths clubs in schools in that region as part of a broad initiative. Please support us here
